     Marcus married Elizabeth Mellefont Warren on September 1, 1870 in County Cork, Ireland, Fathers listed as Marcus Slade, soldier and William Warren, gentleman.1,4 Marcus George Slade was Engineer and Architect.1 The family lived in a private house with 9 windows in the front and 11 rooms. A coach house is on the property with 3 other out buildings. The residence is listed on the1911 census as "1st Class".2 Census of Ireland, 1911 lists Elizabeth and Marcus as having 11 children with 4 of them still living.2 and died on April 10, 1921 in Cresent Limerick C.E., Limerick, County Limerick, Ireland.7 He died in 1921 in Limerick, County Limerick, Ireland.8 He left a will on October 21, 1933; Probate of the Will of Marcus George Slade late of the Cresent Limerick C.E., who died 10 April 1921 granted at Limerick to Cecil A. Slade C.E.7
