Our research of the Slade surname began in early 1970s in the United States, however, ALL of the Slade families in the USA originated in other countries, primarily England.  The information contained herein has been gleaned from census & public records, historical & biographical books, land and tax records, wills, family bibles, letters, documents, recollections of old timers and correspondence with other researchers. 

The Slade surname was registered with the Guild of One Name Studies in London thereby extending the Slade surname study worldwide.  We currently have more than 20,000 documented Slade individuals in our database from England, Canada, Australia, United States, New Zealand, Ireland and Scotland.
