His wife is listed as Eleanore.9 He died on February 13, 1940 at age 46.10 He was buried in Prospect Cemetery, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Headstone inscription reads: Can Engrs C.E.F. Spr Stewart Slade 1893-1940.2
