     Stanley Frederick Slade was born on October 28, 1882 in Loon Bay, Twillingate Dist, Newfoundland.1,2 He was the son of Frederick Slade and Amelia Manuel [?].1
     Stanley married Ethel Downs Woodman in Newfoundland.2 Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Slade returned home this week after a prolonged visit to their son, Dr. Clyde Slade, at Toronto. While away, Mrs. Slade also visited her brother, Mr. Douglas Woodman, who at present resides in Melrose, Mass. This was indeed a very happy reunion as it was the first time that Mrs. Slade had seen her brother for over 41 years.3 Stanley Frederick Slade died on March 16, 1961 at age 78.4,5
