     Reuben married Annie Ingram on December 9, 1903 in Harbour Buffett, Newfoundland, Canada.4,5 Reuben Slade, fisherman, was the owner of the schooner Evelyn D S, constructed in 1915 and registered for all ports in Newfoundland.6 Reuben Slade died in 1950 in Kingwell, Long Island, Placentia Bay, Newfoundland.7
