     John married third Selina Moores on November 28, 1921 in Pouch Cove, Newfoundland, Charles Moores witnessed the marriage.6,7 John Robert Slade died on January 9, 1963 at age 768 and was buried in United Church Cemetery, Perry's Cove, Newfoundland, tombstone errected by grandsons Robert & Ronald Slade.8
