In fact, she left our place to go out to North Dakota or Montana. She went out to where Aunt Belle* and Uncle Seaman* were living. That was about the year 1917 of 1918, I believe. Married Walter White there and had a family of four. Two boys and two girls. Walter Willis, Lester and Florence (twins), then Ruth. They lived near Baker, Montana. Then fhe finally moved into Baker later on. Have had no word from she[sic] or the family since about 1954-1955. She never came back to Nova Scotia again."

*Seaman and Belle MacEachern were children of Mary Slade and Thomas MacEachern. Mary is the daughter of Ephraim's brother John and would be Dora's great-aunt.2,3 Dora Slade was a Presbyterian, and working as a servant.4
