Azmon Alexander Howell1

b. 30 June 1869, d. 18 October 1935
     Azmon Alexander Howell known as Alexander. He was born on June 30, 1869 in Georgia.2 He was the son of Samuel Alexander Howell and Mary Frances Barrett.3
     Azmon married Mary Rebekah Slade, daughter of Thomas Jefferson Slade and Nancy J Storey, in 1896.4 Azmon was engaged in a very large saw mill business in Louisiana for several years. In April, 1908, he sold his part interest in the mill and relocated his family back to Pike County.5 He died on October 18, 1935 at age 66.2 He was buried in Zebulon United Methodist Church Cemetery, Pike County, GeorgiaG.2
