Prudence Emily Brooks

b. 20 October 1842, d. 10 October 1920
     Prudence Emily Brooks was born on October 20, 1842 in Pike County, Georgia.1 She was the daughter of Thomas Jefferson Brooks and Emily Prudence Story.
     Prudence married William Harrison Slade, son of Simon Slade and Matilda Rickerson, on November 29, 1860 in Zebulon, Pike County, Georgia.2 She died on October 10, 1920 in Griffin, Spalding County, Georgia, at age 77.1 She was buried in Midway UM Church Cemetery, Griffin, Spalding County, GeorgiaG.1
