Ceamon Calvin Slade

b. 13 October 1880, d. 19 November 1928
     Ceamon Calvin Slade was born on September 13, 1880 in Mississippi.1 He was the son of Calvin Griffin Slade and Harriet Matilda Fillingame. His World War I draft registration card spelled his name Seamon and gave his wife's name Bessie. He also signed it with an "x" indicating he could not write his name.1
     Ceamon married Elizabeth M. Morgan. Ceamon Calvin Slade was registered in the draft for World War I on September 12, 1918 in Purvis, Lamar County, Mississippi.1 He died on November 19, 1928 at age 48 after having been in a logging truck accident near Richburg, Mississippi.2 He was buried in Providence, Forrest County, Mississippi.2
